My question concerns the cds on the stamp. I have a vague memory of the 'MB' meaning 'mobile box' but that's where my brain waves end. Note that the cancel mentions both 'France' and, across the Pond, 'Southampton.'
Can anyone shed any light on this marking. If its special, I suppose I'll keep the stamp in spite of its horizontal crease. If not, than it goes into the damaged stamps receptacle.
