Hello All. Not sure if this is the correct section for this. I am looking for empty binders for the following stamp albums: White Ace Vatican City, HE Harris Canada and Provinces[ Must be in decent shape. With the Harris, no splits on the hinges or anywhere else. With the White Ace, lettering not worn off or any scuff or tears. Does anyone happen to have a source for theses? Does anyone have any of these? I am willing to pay a fair prices for each. You can PM me. Thank You Very Much!!!

You've been after the Canada album since at least 2017, I see. Good luck!

What ever happened to Alco Distributors taking over the White Ace line from Washington Press?

Canada: Arpin Philately

I needed an extra binder once (some Harris WW album, can't remember which one, now) and looked and looked at all the stores, websites, etc for a new one. No dice. I also went to eBay. I finally found a collection in one of the albums and the binder looked pretty good. It was a cruddy collection and the album went for a song. When I got it, I pretty much chucked the pages and the stamps.

H.E.Harris binders are terrible for any long time use . After many years of trying to keep them in decent condition ,they all failed ,they turn the clear plastic yellow ,they crack and the edges start to split .

Ebay, stamp shows, or stamp dealer shops are a good source. I found a 1970s Senior Statesman binder at the latter.

White Ace does not sell binders anymore.
Alco has been selling off their White Ace back stock.
Sometime last year I spoke with someone at Alco about resuming sales of the other binders; they said they were having difficulties finding a new manufacturer that could meet their price point.
Maybe I ought to call them again for an update......

I purchase the Staples 'Better binder' in the 2" size. I use 65# card stock for pages & double side mount. I use Scott mounts for stamps & photo corners for FDC or special envelope cancels These are sturdy, good looking (multi color choices on the binders) I also use Staples document protectors so I do not need to hole punch the album page just insert.

Well I decided to follow up with Allensinc.com (the purveyors of White Ace products) and was not disappointed. I am allowed to share the news that a suitable manufacturer of binders has been found and that more news will be forthcoming with a month or two. The gentleman I spoke with was quite enthusiastic about everything.

He also told me that the reason this was even necessary was that when White Ace closed shop, their binder manufacturer saw fit to destroy the dies and whatever else was used to create White Ace binders. If they had waited then Allensinc would most likely have continued that business relationship.

So hold on, White Ace fans. New binders (blank and USA first) are slowly but surely coming back.
