What might this be...




...of note, the Bactrian camel at rest, and the large Soviet star at the head of the train. Back in the day, I would oft trade my Dromedary for a Bactrian, and for the improved ride. Sadly, the feral, wild Bactrian is critically endangered.

Rather, I think that the wild variant is the progenitor, the "holotype".
