On going through a job lot I purchased I came across 2 joined SG228's …a most common stamp.
On looking at the back of the stamps, there appears to be an overlap from one stamp to the other, but the perforations are most definitely joined….photos attached including close ups of join.

That looks like a coil join. Was the stamp issued in vertical coils?

Coil joins were issued every 20th stamp. Note the large holes in the middle with smaller holes on the sides. There is a premium for this, so don't soak and separate. Nice find.
