Hello!
Can someone please tell me his opinion on this 12 pf. F.Engels stamp ? There are lines running across the stamp, that form a shape or pattern on the background that l don't see to other 12 pf. stamps from the same issue. It would be very helpful if someone gives information on this subject.

Just an inking issue. They often did a fill of the background by using a pattern that allowed the ink to run together creating a solid field without pooling too much.
