Exactly! All my scans are made outside of SCF. Instinct and experience say covers at 100dpi, items the size of business cards at 200dpi, and stamps at 300dpi. Seldom do I ever have to adjust the image due to excessive file size, but when I do it's opened in a photo processing software for a quick fix. If I need the image for another use, I scan at a higher resolution at the same time.

Much needed option. I am frustrated time and time again trying to upload a cover image.
