The forgeries associated with these stamps tend to be of the cancellations (the stamps had such short currency amidst the hyperinflation that relatively few were postally used). So the note could refer to the used stamp on the left.
The original poster is maybe asking about the inverted overprint being the 8 is inverted . it is noticable with the inverted 8 . That would the only reason for a forger to be interest in this series .
On the subject of a fake cancel on these stamps a scan on the computer is not good enough to decide . Some cancels can be identify by the use of a later period postal cancel .
