Hello, I am new to stamp collecting and have a 1915 or earlier 1 cent Washington stamp that seems to measure at 12x12 perforation. I have not seen 12x12 for these stamps anywhere. Does that even exist? I may be reading it wrong or possibly the gauge is not good. It is a Unitrade Postage Perforation Gauge made in Canada.

Ooof. Thanks. After further digging, I just came across the 405 variety right before I saw your response. Thank you. I guess I have a #405 here.

Yeah, I really like that image too. Seems pretty random though, as the note on the opposite side has no relation to the front. It seems to be some sort of suggestion to make phone call inquiries to shops rather than making the effort to visit them in person? Potentially marketing telephones, but no specific product is mentioned.
