Would Like Some Help Plating A Penny Black

Hello everyone. I've been trying to plate this Penny Black
but I'm not sure which plate it is. I'm guessing plate 6 simply becuase
the punch letters seem to match. I would appreciate any
help. Thank you.

I think that you are correct in picking plate 6.

I have one other question. Do you have any idea what the white
marks are scattered amongst the letters in "ONE PENNY" ?
Was the stamp possibly just poorly inked ?

Agreed, plate 6.

The white marks I would suggest are plate wear. The Nissen example is showing an earlier state of wear than your example.
