John - thank you. Actually, only some of my stuff is on black leaves. They're dearer, and they're unforgiving when you make a mess! I have a fairly basic method - find the centre-top (27 1/2 boxes in on these), 1 1/2 box gap between stamps in the same set, 4 box gap between different sets. So not too long, and I see the page-making as part of the collecting, so it's not too much of a chore if you're in the mood.

Black leaves usually come with a glassine interleave, and album manufacturers used to warn against using them in humid climates.
