US Queen Elizabeth Stamp?

Not as far as I know, although what I know about recent issues isn't much. There was a 1976 stamp showing Franklin, which shouldn't have been issued either. I can't see why QEII would be on a US stamp.

As far as I know, she hasn't done much if anything for the US.
I don't agree with giving someone special status just because they are born to a certain family.
I don't like collecting Great Britain and the Commonwealth stamps with her and other monarchs profile thingy on it. It seems like they are lording it over the countries and subjugating the people there. It just irks me no end.
If they make a US stamp for OE2, I will spend my last penny buying up as many as I can and burning them all.

I'm sure USPS would be delighted - "Hey, we've just sold 10 million stamps to one guy".

With that subjugation issue, presumably you don't collect US stamps?

I will not be surprised if the USPS issues something in her honor, and I will absolutely pick up a sheet if they do. She was an iconic worldwide figure, despite how anyone feels about a monarchy. If Churchill can have a stamp, then his boss certainly deserves one. With all the silly stamp subjects we have thrust upon us, this would be a fine return to honoring a historic figure instead of cartoon characters. I whole-heartedly support that.

DaveG28, I agree. Like Mother Teresa and Winston Churchill, Queen Elizabeth II was respected world wide. In my opinion, she merits a US commemorative stamp more than a set of 10 "droids" from a fantasy series which already had a set of 15 earlier commemorative stamps.
