eBay sellers, if you want us to take you seriously, please stop taking pictures of your $1,750+ cat value stamps with your cell phone.
One particular seller (Boots4222) looks like he not only takes his picture with a cell phone set at 20dpi (maybe 25?) quality, I believe he also taking them underwater. At night. In stagnant swamp water.
As a bonus, one specific lot appears to be an ultra-rare R16b "part perf" with 1868 canx on pink paper, with a bonus perf hole at bottom left, but in the "imperf" area (no extra charge). Of course the quality of the pic is so terrible, no one can really tell what we are seeing. I would love to ask for better scans of his stamps, but he banned me after I pointed out he was selling bogus stamps. Sooooo, I can't bid or send a request for a better scan. My bad...
At least shipping for the $1,750 stamp is $1!!!!!!

NYStamps has their own issues, with their patented so-so cell pic of the front of the stamp, and even lower dpi pic of the back of the stamp. Can't imagine how much extra time that takes to take two different pics at different DPIs. I asked for better scans of one of their lots and they told me they were too busy as they were selling too many lots to include higher quality pics. Seriously.
Sellers, please fork over $80 for a flatbed scanner and take proper scans so we can see what you are offering up. And so other bidders can point out mis'IDs, since you banned me and I can't send you a message.
Thankyoueversomuch!
And get off my grass.
