My guess is the plate number is plate number.

i am NOT trying to sell this. Look on John Himes used PNC price list.
I sent him this pic and he flipped. There are only about 6 of these known.
The little tuft of paper at the bottom of each valley was only used on plate P11111. this connected the stamps together in coil format so they wouldn't lift off the backing paper.
A few were printed with P22222, then they changed their process when determined that one or two did the job.

I had this about 10 years before I learned about it.
