Hi I have been collecting stamps for 50 plus years, mostly US, but also UK, Germany and other parts of Europe.
I collect used, but have plenty of new and MNH to trade away.
How do I find list of stamps people want, and post list of what I have and want?

Appreciate any help, as this is a new forum for me (been on other web pages for years, looking for more US collectors).
Thanks

Hello and welcome to the forum.
I hope you stick around and get 50 posts before you can partake in exchanges. (If I'm not mistaken, it's the forum rules).
In all cases, I hope you get to get to know the forum members.
I'm sure that someone with your experience will be a great addition to our family.

AKGarrity,

Collecting for the enjoyment of collecting, whatever that might be, is the name of the game. Don't hesitate to ask questions especially if you need basic information and especially more advanced sources of information for any possible topic. You should be able to find folks on this board a little further along on their collecting journey glad to share experiences.

My personal bias is a used stamp loses the story of its journey in the postal service when it is removed from the cover it transported to its destination. Collecting postal history adds a whole new aspect to your journey in our hobby.

Wishing you many enjoyable future days in our hobby. Russ

Welcome AKGarrity,
As mazdoc mentioned, we limit transactions between community members until they have 50+ posts. This is for safety; it gives everyone a chance to get to know each other before sharing personal information.
After you have been around a while and have 50 posts, you can start a thread in this section

It's taken me a long time to reach the 50 post rule. Hopefully I will get there before I die. Good luck

Welcome AKGarity.
Zman, actually its quite easy to get to 50 posts. Participate in a few more discussions, and your there. Will not take 60 years/lifetime to get either! This forum and its users thrive off of and freely dispense of their knowledge which they garnered over a lifetime. And believe me, the breadth of knowledge and information is greatly appreciated by myself and probably many others that use this forum.
