My dear colleagues,
I am surprised by the stamp below. Anyone have any clue about it?

Nepal ?
Looks like 4 annas 1881-1886 whichever details fit
Budget stamp is the 1886 Native wove paper Imperf CV circa $10
Authenticity unknown.

Not a specialist, but never seen a long barred postmark like that one prior.

Only 12 barred oval postmark I can see is BHOJPUR
But let's wait to see what the specialists say.

Most barred Pmks are circular.

Tip: Alter your thread title to something like "Unknown Nepalese Stamp"
for more attention from members

Postage Stamp and Telegraphic use. (If genuine)

Read page 1 of the link given by Geoff.
Explains it in detail.

The Frajola/Vignola work does include 3 barred circle cancels. There are also Indian killers/obliterators in this style.
