These are covers were sent to the USA. The rate for post cards was 45pf and letters 75pf. Usually they just used three 25pf stamps for a letter and 40pf and 5pf for the post cards, but on these people were somewhat of more creative.


The two above were sent after 3N1-20 were demonetized on October 31,1946.







Starting tomorrow I will post more covers going to a different country each day.

I just bought a very like cover from the local stamp club meeting. I had never seen one before and now I see this post very enjoyable |

 This one was returned because the addressee couldn't be found.

These were sent to Sweden.

 This one may have been over weight since it has more than 75pf used.
 Postcard with 45pf rate.

 The one mark stamp is difficult to find on cover since they were withdrawn because of counterfeiting as was the 80pf. This one was most likely over weight too. |

 I think this one was returned.
 Notice the color difference of the 12pf. I think they are different printings.

 I think this one was returned.
 Post card rate overpaid by 5pf.
 These were sent to Czechoslovakia.
 This one was censored in both Czechoslovakia and in the Bizone.
 I think this one was returned.

 This one was forwarded to a different address.
 These were sent to Paraguay.
 This one was overpaid by 3pf.
 These were sent to Chile.
 This one was returned to Germany.
 This post card was an official German military one that was re-purposed.

These were sent to Egypt.
 I have no idea why this cover was accepted without any postage.

This was sent to Syria.
 I hope you enjoyed these covers from my collection.
