Dixon Street postmarks won't be that common, because ordinary letters would have been sent to the Head Office for cancelling. Registered items would have been been cancelled at the office, along with parcels as shown by the stamp.

Thanks Phil,
I could not find head office, or where that may have been,
but I see Dixon Street, was only 80 metres away from St Enoch Square and Jamaica Street.

So yes, that makes sense.
