I have done some searching online, but I cannot find if someone makes a stamp mount that I can put my duplicate booklet panes and plate blocks into that is top loading, and only has a seam at the bottom, none on the sides. I want to store these standing up in a row in a box instead of in an album. I guess what I am looking for would be similar to a Showgard type mount, but without the split back and open at the top. Either pre-cut or strips that can be cut to size, just like Showgard. Showgard is nice, but I want something that is easier to put the stamps into.

Ok, so I just found that Hawid makes a mount that I was looking for, so if anyone wants to comment on what they think of them, if they have used them. |

They - or "Hawid-style" - are what most people use. I usually apply a light touchof glue-stick to them, rather than dampening. |

I have used them extensively (clear and black background) for several years now, and I like them. Shop around, though. Some brick and mortar (well, non-eBay anyway) stamp supply outlets have decent deals... John |

[quote]Measure the height of the booklets add about 5-8 mm I think booklets use 70mm? https://stampsmarter.org/features/M...rossRef.htmlLet us know what the height you think you need, I have boxes of top opening mounts that I typically do not use. Don/quote] Well, I'm just a beginner, but so far all the bookets and panes I have purchased are 2-1/8" or under in height. |

LOL, yeah I know what I'm doing isn't working right! I am copying the quote that I want to use, pushing the reply to topic button, then pushing the quote button with the red arrow at the top, inserting the quote between the two "quote" words. I must be doing something wrong then. |

I don't want to mount them in an album, just store them in a box of some kind. |

Yeah, it would stiffen them up, but what about the card itself being unsafe for long term storage, do they make cards that are acid free or sulfur free? |

With the dealer approval cards, you would be okay as long as you used the small stock cards (one row would be ideal) with protective acetate (or poly) protective film on the front. In other words, not the paper style ones. Lighthouse brand are excellent. With mounting them on a card, you would probably have to go with quality card stock - and cut them yourself, but why re-invent the wheel? John |

Quote: do they make cards that are acid free or sulfur free? They make plastic cards. Lighthouse is my favorite but Lindner and Safe make them as well. I have used them for years and love them. I loathe cardboard cards. Not long ago a seller sent me a set of stamps in a cardboard card and the cardboard absorbed moisture in shipping and they all stuck to the card. It ruined them. |

Ok, so I can put the booklet panes or plate blocks right inside these plastic cards (5-3/4"x 3-1/4"), which are safe. Wizard wants $42/100 for Lighthouse brand, that seems a little high to me, is that about right? |
