Prominent Americans Series Varieties—1303c

I am collecting the Prominent Americans series many cataloged varieties. I am having trouble locating 1303c, the untagged 4 cent Lincoln coil. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The problem is that this is a tagging omitted error. Even relatively common TO errors can be difficult to locate, especially since the passing of Victor Bove a few years ago. I checked my duplicate stash on the off chance that I might have one ... all I could find were a few 1303 & a strip of 3 of 1303a (the untagged precancel). Good luck with your search.
Added: I agree that checking with Craig Selig would be a good place to start, even though his current list doesn't show that any are available.
Added: A longer shot would be tbrstamps on ebay. He specializes in modern definitives. Once in a great while he even lists an error variety. Several years ago, even though none appeared in his ebay store, I asked him if he had a 1290b plate block ... he did & he sold it to me at a very reasonable price. You could contact him through his ebay store.

I too have been looking for a 1303c for several years along with about 50 other
TO errors. I suspect that they are out there but no one has checked these common stamps for tagging.

One place where I have found an enormous amount of ( tagging ) varieties are the APS circuit books.

Try Scott Shaulis of Pennsylvania. I'd call him directly. If he doesn't have it he likely has a referral. While starting as a part time dealer and expanding over the decades he has also been involved with the EFO Collector's Club for the same decades. He currently is the EFOCC Secretary. Missing tagging is a collectible, error EFO.

He may still be a working firefighter and thus not handling his philatelic business daily.

Thank you for the replies. I have previously tried Craig Selig but had no reply. I have done business with TBR and am sending a query. I agree with StampOCD that they are many out there that just have not been identified.

This series was in current issue when I started collecting in my youth. I wish I had been more attentive to the varieties at that time.

Not to piggy back off this, but I have been looking for a 2543 space shuttle untagged. Last I think it only has been discovered used. I have asked every single person for years to check and havent found one including folks above. Tagging omits are really only discoverable in person, so internet searching for them is doubly challenging.

Craig Selig is awesome to work with, but if he had ... on his list, then he probably doesnt have it unfortunately, but hey ya never know.

Allow me to reiterate the forum email policy. No posting of email addresses is allowed, this includes address munging (working around the rule by various methods). Unfortunately address munging does not work, email bots know the common work-arounds and will still harvest them.

Note that the 'no email addresses' rule is not simply meant to protect each of us from spam emails.
