Circular Cut Cancel On A R15c

Never seen a cut cancel before so thought I'd post this. You can actually feel the raised surface on the reverse. Kept it on the paper it was attached to.

the obvious use of these cut cancels was reuse prevention. various punch or cut cancels were often used on checks in that period for the same reasons.

Just a minor clarification.

This is a cut canx, not embossing.

It does physically break the paper as a security feature as mentioned by M & M.
