I studied Stamp Smarter identification tool for German Democratic Republic 5 year plan 1953/59 and Stamp collecting world DDR definitives of 1953-1959. Its fair easy to tell litho vs. typo printing.

My lithograph stamps have the 4 correct markers except for the E directly above the A.(that is suppose to be typo printing) Litho is supposed to be A between the HE. As well as 5 touches the left compass ( typo ) , 5 dose not touch the compass (litho)
It has the horizontal DDR posthorn water mark on back.

The
question is; real, fake or other variety?

(Needs confirmation)
I have been known to make mistakes
Created via 1985 MSWorks
Select value and just move across to confirm design and print type

Your left specimen is likely Mi 370XIIN, a 1957 reprint for philatelic purposes. Even the cancelation is printed and not genuine (there are about 20 different cancelations, from Cottbus to Leipzig to your Rostock). The right specimen may be Mi 371 XIIN, also a '57 reprint.
For German stamps of any era, you sometimes have to get better references than websites.
