Exist genuine and forged (any watermark evident ?)
The complete set of 48 optd 'Reprint' plus three extras (two shades each of the 1d and 6d Queen-on-Throne, and the £5 Stamp Statute 'REPRINT' overprint). Generally fine and rarely offered as a complete set, as the Stamp Statutes were printed in half the quantity of the Postage values (51)

In 1891 the Victorian Post Office reprinted 48 obsolete stamps on V over Crown paper, using in a few cases the existing plates, but otherwise from new printing plates derived from the original dies. These reprints were intended for distribution to U.P.U. members, for which purpose they were overprinted 'Reprint'. Sets were later placed on sale to collectors, and following Federation the remaining stocks were cancelled-to-order for presentation purposes

There was a set made of most of the older or obsolete stamps from Victoria. They were produced in 1891 and were marked as reprints. They were made to satisfy the needs of the Universal Postal Union. Sets of these stamps were also made available to the general public. Your stamp should have a V over Crown (V2) watermark if it is from this set of reprints. I'm unaware of any other reprints being made of this stamp.

The more I look at the reverse - the more I see which is interesting!
Maybe just imagining ( my eyesight is terrible) but I see absolute confusion in paper
Any other opinions?
