That souvenir sheet is part of a set of five additional stamps that was not issued by the government .

Thanks, cdj. Very interesting reading. As you noted a better story than many other "Cinderellas" or labels.

Similar to many other SCF members, several examples from this series reside in my collection.

And while I have seen reference to Mosden, the backstory was heretofore unknown (at least to me).
