Yes, when you append your posts,
the thread becomes a vast information resource
for students.

Of course difficult in the first instance
when one doesn't know the genesis of a label.

Rod I've been taking jeed of what you have been saying about relevance of new post titles and at least attempting to put country or best description . Like you say it makes referencing so much better . Example with these issues I assumed russia by hammer and sickle posted as such, but once I was made aware of this post it just makes sense to expand on what has been started already.
I'm also very guilty of not using the search option , but half the time I don't know what I'm looking at to begin with.
That said do any of the issues I posted have potential of forgery? I will likely post 4 sale but don't want to mislead anyone.

I finally found a 2r Azerbaijan stamp with the upright scroll on the left (on white paper), and it is even used :
