Anyone have any insight on the oval shaped "New York H.T." postmark/handstamp on this cover postmarked May 15, 1914, in New York City? I've checked around a bit and can't figure out the meaning of H.T.
The stamp is US Scott #413, an 8.5 perforated vertically coil.
Howard & Morse was established in 1856 and manufactured wire office railing, window guards, iron fences, and all varieties of wire work for banking institutions and other businesses.
Thanks!
