Marked "SERVICE DES PRISONNIERS DE GUERRE" at top, Prisoner of War letter sent with 'Free' franking.
Censor mark LIEUT COL/ GERMAN CONCENTRATION CAMPS/ LIVERPOOL N.S.W. in lower left box.

New South Wales renamed three Post Offices in the early years of the war.

German's Hill became Lidster in 1916, Germanton became Holbrook in 1915 and German Creek became Empire Vale (of course it did) in 1915.

it's just I have never seen that envelope in any Ozzie Stationery catalogues.
