I enjoy collecting US Postal Seals, especially on cover. Here is a OX11 Seal on a Jun 10, 1904 Boston cover. Like other types of covers found today, some are found with contents.
In this case, the contents are a legal notice letting Miss Smith know the Trustee has found an account standing against her in a bankruptcy for a total of 85 cents.
I am assuming that the letter was opened by a Miss Smith but perhaps it was the wrong Miss Smith. This was noted and the Postal Seal was applied.
