Looks like April 22 1946 was the cancellation date. Pretty cool that some philatelist took the time to get this done. Was this common?

Very nice ,never seen them with favor cancels, right on the album page . A interesting page .

I doubt it was done for a philatelist and more done for the dealer who had the pages printed .

O very interesting concept. Never thought of that. Capitalism is always thinking.

Perhaps this one was also done for the same reason. I really need to learn to read German

Interesting cover: post-war mailing of an obviously Third Reich ('39-'45) era card.

Interesting page with Cottbus stamps.
The cancellation design appears original (I found a similar cancellation in "stampsx")
You must check if the cancellation is not done on a printer.
According to the notation (1 -16x) at the top right of the page, it seems that you have the more valuable stamps (paper type x - you have to check)

2 types of paper were used:
x = white, woodfree paper
w = fiber paper

I only have w-type paper - notice the fibers:

The stamps with face values in Mark in the first issue have the printed background (it can be seen on the white areas of the stamps) and have type w paper.
These 4 stamps in the second issue no longer have the printed background and have type x and w paper.

My opinion is although it's not super fluffy I think that it is indeed w paper and not x as someone has previously wrote on the page.

Your stamps look white to me, but I think it's because of the contrast with the color of the page.
Stamps with w paper besides those fibers also have a cream/brownish color.

I can't see the fibers very clearly in your images, but you have them in front of your eyes.
Too bad it's not x paper.

I mistook the fiber placement in your comment, now I see that you weren't saying fiberish on the perfs but actually wood fibers in the construction of the paper. I'll do a recheck when I get home. Thank you for teaching. Much appreciated

I'm trying to compare to my other Cottbus pages. I definitely have some varieties to figure out. I found the background printed ones on a different page. The ones on the cancelled item are not printed background. I don't believe I see any pieces of wood like you pointed out on your images. I will attach some better pics plus those with the printed background.

The second item is postally used; it's a parcel card used for shipping packages. Whether the franking is philatelic or not, I have no idea at the moment.
