Most of the Sage type stamps I have are showing perforations 14x13½ . There are listed for all stamps in in pre 1900 series, but few of them have a slightly different perf.-14x13¼ .
I have looked for these details in Maury / Spink 2019 catalog , compared with Y&T - and I get more confused. I am no expert in these type of stamps and as I mentioned in one of my previous posts I can't read French language . There is not very much explanation in both Maury and Y&T about this difference .I have read posts of other philatelists that came across such stamps and they too measured 14x13¼ perforations. Does someone hase more information about this ?

Many catalogues - the exact measurement steps, normally, are printed in the introduction - measure the perforation gauge in halves. So, a perforation that gauges 13.25 or just over will be rounded to 13.5.
