I have two copies of the Bureau database/catalog Kimball 5th edition and one copy of the TnT 7th edition. All from 2005/07.

Has anyone a thought on whether to keep them or not, now that I have upgraded to the latest editions?

I am not looking for a reason to toss them, but to keep them despite the fact that I am trying to clean out.

Ty for any thoughts.

Jan

IMO, only reason to keep them would be if they cover or include something the latest edition doesn't.

I'd keep them.

Better to have them and not need them than the opposite!

A couple of CD roms won't take up too much space

Thanks. Part of the problem is that my precancel life keeps getting interrupted, sometimes for a couple of years at a time, by RL. So I come back thinking they are the latest editions and that leads to confusion since the latest editions were download-only.

So I have now written on the discs with a Sharpie, indicating they are out of date. I may be slow, but I think I've got there in the end. Thanks for inspiring me to a probable solution.

I know next to nothing about collecting pc's but if you are interested in parting with of the cd's I'd be interested in getting one. My recent post will explain what my interest is involving. I'd like to see if the collection I got would be of interest to another person who collects them and I could share the info I have.
