Just found this in a box of mixed stamps & covers I got from my uncle's accumulation. Unsure of his connection: he was a geologist for an oil company. This was the 1 FDC I found. Enclosure signed in blue ink; maybe he knew that person?
For a while in that time period, companies with a connection to the stamp issued sent out such items. Collecting such is a subcategory of FDC collecting for some.
