American 1945 APO Cancel On France Stamp

I thought this was interesting. I hadn't seen one of these before.
Any info on it would be appreciated.



I think the cancel reads 1JN 2 1945, NEW YORK A.P.O. *** / UNIT 1 ***. Not sure if that is a 1 before JN (June) or what it is. Not too familiar with France cancels.

I'd suggest it is an US Army Post Office strike.
