Hello

An official 50ore SG O39 has a variant O39e with a missing line above the "S".
I found something similar in 10ore SG O33, Scott O17. I checked it with x30 magnification and the paper seemed intact. What could have caused it? Did anyone else run into such a variant?

In the next stamp, I found unfamiliar stamping on the back of the stamp. What can it be?

Thanks for reading.

Just an advertising stamp from Errington and Martin, old-established London stamp dealers and album manufacturers. Often pop up.

Not unusual at all unless you find a lot of them with the same defect, then it's more likely a plate variety. Finding an undiscovered plate variety at this late date is unlikely...
