Hello

This has come out of a sort I am doing and I am having a wee bit of difficulty identifying it properly. The Scott 210 should be yellowish brown in colour and an identifying feature of the stamp is the fact the cross hatching fades underneath Washington's chin. The 211B is reddish brown and the cross hatching doesn't fade. The 211B was printed on 'soft porous' paper but I'm not sure how I would discern that.

My stamp is reddish brown in my opinion but the cross hatching does appear to fade so I am inclined to say Scott 210.

Could anyone help with this identification so I can catalogue it correctly please?

Definitely a 210.

Regardless of any shading and engraving qualities you see, the "4" cancel at the very lower left is a portion of an "84" year date, which makes it too early for 211B.
