This stamp has 11 perfs on both sides and the bottom is not 11perfs not 10.5 perfs and not 10 perfs. It seems to be at an angle at the bottom also. What stamp is this? Thanks

Yes, no response needed. I'm sure you will spin any response in your favor and offer at some ridiculous price.

Can you provide new photos with the three perforated sides each on a perforation gauge? This will allow folks to see if you are measuring the perforations correctly as well as demonstrating what they are. Tough to gauge perforations by eye on on an illustration.

No, don't encourage her. She'll say that she is doing it perfectly, we'll say she isn't, then she'll post something like, "experts say that this is difficult to measure accurately" and then claim it is a great rarity. Better to just let this thread die a quick death.

A new example of how JuJu is trying to damage the reputation of philately on ebay, while making things harder for legitimate stamp sellers.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/225631989000

Not sure if this stamp was posted here in SCM, haven't checked. Cheap stamp, with a cool $23,000 ask. At least for now- might be $12K next week, who knows?

There are no SCF rules being broken. But is the thinking that SCF should expand the rules to include issues beyond this community? That the SCF staff should invest their own time to do credit checks, criminal background checks, and Better Business reviews? Exactly what is the definition or criteria to be used in determining who is and isn't a good seller? Has this seller caused more harm to the hobby than NY Stamps? Mystic? Or some of the auction houses that jerk people around? Do we disallow a voice here anyone who we deem bad for the hobby? I bet most everyone here can recite a story where they got ripped off by some seller, do we start a 'black list' to ban every one of these people?

There are also no ebay rules being broken; people can ask whatever stupid prices they want.

I do not personally support this person's listing practices and feel that they have the potential to cause harm. I assume that the listings are so ridiculous that it is unlikely that the hobby will be harmed. But no matter what the case, my personal opinion of others is not the criteria that I use for helping moderate this forum.
Don

Edit:
I would add that I invested considerable amounts of time and money establishing a ' ebay Online review' community project as one possible solution in helping offset harm that poor listing might be doing. When Bill Weiss was alive, he spent some of his time helping adding to it and keep it current. He and I would contact sellers and offer suggestion for improving their listing often before the listing had ended. A few other folks also contributed by posting reviews. Everyone can access this to make better informed buying decisions. If preventing harm to the hobby from bad listings is so important, why did this

But the project lost all momentum because people not enough people were not interested spending a few minutes to post a review. So I have tried to come up with a solution to the issue of poor ebay listings by invest FAR more time than it takes to write a simple review. <shrugs> Everyone can access this to make better informed buying decisions. If preventing harm to the hobby from bad listings is so important, why did this effort come to a halt due to a lack of participation?

That holds true until she listed the two listings of US 703(b) based upon a Siegel's Power Search return from a 1991 auction sale, of course, unlike the Siegel lot, hers does not include a P.F. Certificate.

There was this for the new to SCF folks: https://goscf.com/t/84315

Perhaps a similar could show up for how to address the folks who attract the pitch fork and torch as well as tar and feather mobs for SCF members and their comments.

Jujustamps ( as well as Jujusales) may ( ) be asking outrageous prices for stamps as well as coins, she is making sales in other material. Thus she knows how to describe and price material, especially Barbie material, such that it sells to happy buyers.

She has stated she did not was to under-price her philatelic materials. So far she has not. Will she start to listen to us here? Well not if she is continued to be treated as she has been in this thread. Trust needs to be developed for her to start to believe what she reads here.

If she posts the photos of the stamp edges on a proper perf gauge, it will show if she knows how to use the gauge and for those wondering about her listing, this thread will come up in a Google search such that other can see how she measures with a perf gauge. Of even if she has a perf gauge with which to measure. As to what she may post on ebay, many things posted there have not been posted here. Her most dangerous stamp listings, she seems to have found the Siegel lot all on her own. Just because you may be afraid she will turn words of truth into misleading statements, should not be the reason to stop speaking truth.
