I have a copy of North Borneo # 86, unused no gum, overprinted SPECIMEN.

Can anyone offer some information on this stamp? Possible value? Other?

Using Google I found a few results for pricing of the complete set, Scott 79-90, in the $125 range (MH). Your single is probably worth about $5. SG catalog value is of course much higher.

Thanks, Rodcam. I was surprised to see in my 2013 Classic Scott catalog that an unused (with gum) copy of the regular 86 was listed at $140.00.
