I just received an email ad from IHobb that said they were having a clearance sale of the original Hawid mounts (to make room for the new versions which, if memory serves, are made by Lighthouse). This may be one of the last opportunities to grab some of the old stock for those that use them (I'm a split-back guy, myself).

Lots of feelings about split-backs on this forum.

I wonder what the difference is between the HAWID made mounts and the Lighthouse produced mounts?

Didn't Lighthouse simply take over the Hawid operation?

I assume the branding changed and want to just rid of the stock.

I didn't receive the mail although I have ordered a lot of Hawid mounts from iHobb. I'm thinking that may be because I don't have an account and usually check out as guest. Is there a link to the clearance sale? Looking at the site I just see the usual selection and prices.

Sorry, but since I don't use Hawid mounts, I deleted the email. I signed into my account to see if I could find the clearance sale but had no luck. Their phone number is listed on their main web page...perhaps making a call could garner you some results.
