Was wondering if this is a 15.B, 2.10.2, London Inland Office cancel? Trying to match the plate dates with the cancel date range. Thanks for any help.

hello stamps4life. if you google gbps.org.uk. and bring up post office numbers from 1844 this might help you find what your looking for regards ken.

Thanks Ken. But I have the above and could not get the dates to match so I was looking for a second opinion. I'm relatively new to the world of postmarks and was looking for another opinion. I have the parmenters .pdfs and others, but the PM date of use I think is off from the plate life date.

Hi Stamps4Life,

Yes that's a 15B, in use from August 1849 to February 1850 according to Parmenter.

Barred Numeral Cancellations of London is the PDF to look for on the gbps website

Thanks for the 2nd Bobby. I sometimes have trouble with thick line vs thin, etc., being relatively new to this….

Very nice as I have this as a plate 121, in use 28 jun 1851 and out of use ~ Feb 1852.

Well, I've struck out on the Plate so far. Not 121 im guessing as the dates dont work. Looked a lot and thought maybe 62 or 70. But im not convinced.
