Hello
I posted a reply on one of the threads, and I can't see it when I look at the thread. From the outside, it shows that I did post something, but as I said, I can't see it.
This message too struggled to be published.

Working fine here.

What do you mean "struggled to be published?"

I had the same issue with my post of Machin stamps in the "What Was In Your Mailbox Today??"

Refreshing helped, but not at first and briefly. I even saw a list of "View Last 100 Active Topics" that was an old version. The issue returned when clicking on a link. My post kept appearing and disappearing (yesterday evening).

I also saw these issues yesterday. On any given refresh, results were quite variable. Sometimes it seemed like things updated, but when I would try again, the 100 last active topics seemed to revert to an earlier version. I assumed it was just something corrupt in my cache so I cleared it out. It's uncanny that at least 3 of us saw the same weirdness. Will pay close attention today.

The issues last night occurred on my Windows laptop (Edge). I have not had the same issues this AM on my iPad. Could be coincidence though.

Bobby and Don - for what it's worth, you may be wondering why I bothered to refresh yesterday. I had gotten an email that a thread I follow had a new post. But when I got to the thread, there was no new post beyond what I had already read. That's when I discovered there was missing content, which reoccurred a few more times.

Everything should be ok now.

The "New Posts" link at the top was never supposed to reset the results, just add to them if more popped up since the page was loaded. The "Mark all as Read" button resets this.

I was tweaking caching for a few minutes yesterday, so might have been a little buggy.

Things should be a bit faster now as the server was pretty much not caching static files, like images and javascript. Now they only send a new file if it was changed.

The general advice to refresh was the solution, but I couldn't know of your recommendation because...I didn't refresh. And because I didn't refresh, I couldn't see your recommendation to refresh. There's a hole in the bucket dear Lisa.

Something is definitely going on and things work differently than they used to. Since last night I have been refreshing to see updated postings but now some topics show new posts and others only show old posts.

Example:

The topic about HR Harmer https://goscf.com/t/84884 shows the last post as being from Txstamp 1 hour and 41 minutes ago. In reality Txstamp's post was written on 11 August and was the 3rd post in the topic. The 5 posts after that show up when you click on the topic. A post that I added to that topic a day or two ago is not showing up.

Hope this is clearer than mud.
