I decided to commemorate the end of the old Machins by sending myself a Last Day Cover. Maybe I'm biased, but I lived abroad for three years and was always meeting other collectors who constantly moaned about why we never changed our stamp design...

I think there have been more boring stamp designs, but none has bored me over such a sustained period!

Nice item. I missed out on an interesting cover two weeks ago. I was hoping it would remain available until next month, but it did not.

The text on the cover suggests the barcode has made the design less boring.
Interestingly, the cover bears stamps of two different designs.
