Hey everyone

Fairly new to all this, been diving into the rabbit hole of stamp research, and I'm struggling to identify if this one I have is genuine. I believe it to be a CSA #1, but I have only ever seen it in green and blue, not in red.

Any information would be appreciated.

This looks like it might be a "Birmingham counterfeit." See Trish Kaufmann's webpage at https://www.trishkaufmann.com/csa-fakes (click on "Birmingham).

Ah that's disappointing, I did have a suspicion since I couldn't find it anywhere online. But, I'm guessing the green one I have isn't genuine either, since it looks almost identical.

Thanks for the help.
