These two Bahamas stamps came with a collection I bought. I believe the 4 pence is #18 and the 6 pence #7. They have the markings described in the Serrane guide but in both cases the portraits. especially the chins, look more distorted than the photos in Scott so I wonder if they are counterfeit?

Both forgeries, likely Spiro. The background on these is especially crude.

They look real fake. They have value, though, to the people that enjoy tracking and/or learning about such forgeries. The more we know about the fakes, the more appreciative we should be with the originals.
