I have these 2 "stamps" in my collection from the Commune of Rimini in Italy. Would like to learn more about them. Are they Cinderellas or are they local revenues of some kind? What year are they from? Any help is much appreciated.

These are local revenue stamps, pre 2002.

Diritti di segreteria are administrative fees payable to the local or regional government. These are for the community of Rimini, a famous seaside town in Italy.

I was able to find some more info via an online catalog but the info was pretty limited. Do you happen to have any more info on a more specific date or range that these were used?

No. They are in Lire, so before the Euro that became the standard in 2002. From 1999, it had existed on paper.

From 1950 until 1971, L 5 was less than a cent USD.

Makes sense to me.

There seems to not be a lot about Italy communal revenues out there so here is hoping for more details in the future.

Thank you for the help.

Hello,

according to this site cavalierestamps.com your italian municipal fee stamps were issued in 1945 and were valid until 1970

The 5 lire is "hyphen-hole" perforated and the 20 lire is perf. 11.

Hello NSK,
Looking at this thread https://www.stampcommunity.org/topi...OPIC_ID=8779 it seems more like "hyphen hole" than "rouletted",but I am not an Expert at all.
In any case I translated "dentellatura a trattini",that means "hyphen-hole perforation".
