Cleaning out some old boxes: I would think (back in the old days) a few of us got started this way. I know after my brother got his badge, I " inherited" his startup. This is the 1960 printing.
Looking over those requirements, I think after about 60 years, I can now quality for that merit badge. But I wonder if I'm still registered as a Scout? I suppose there's an age limit, isn't there. Brings back memories.
Mixed memories on Scouting. Loved the soap box derby. Also remember Scout Leader Sadowski who drank beer out of cans while us kids sat around his dirty and dimly lit basement wondering what we were doing there. Bizarre.
