Can anyone help with this watermark? I'm confused at what I'm seeing and starting to look too much into it. Do you see an inverted "P" or is it double stamped? Additional letter?

Yes, I do see the P. I am just wondering if it is upside down and right side up. I'm seeing more connected with the P or I've looked at it for too long.

Orientation of water makers, single line or double line is generally not "a thing" in US philately. Most any orientation can be found.

As to the OP, US postage and special service stamp watermarks are USPS, with a rare USIR. Revenue stamps normally don't get a USPS watermark.
