Just got in a batch of Germany cut squares and I'm having a hard time finding info on a few stationery pieces. I've looked until my eyeballs are about fall out of my head.... even tried stamp ID app. Hopefully someone here will have a clue and set me on right path.
I'm guessing the "Deutches Reich" overprint is from Weimar period and the "eine halber groschen" 1/2 pf is from Austria.Any info is appreciated, thank you!

The first one is most likely a cut-out from an overprinted bavarian card (Michel # P124,1920)
The second one is not from Austria
It might be a cut-out from this card (Michel # P1,1873)

Thank you for the info, it looks like a match!
There was an incorrectly described item on the "bay"mentioning Austria that looked like it, but me needing glasses didn't help either. Not having Osterreich printed somewhere on it was a sign.

EDIT:
Also thanks for scan of the 8 pf card!

The words "Deutsche Reichspost" was a pretty big clue that it's not Austrian. American ebay descriptions of older foreign stamps are a coin flip, accuracy-wise.

Kind of like when your GPS tells you to keep going straight and there's a lake ahead, but you keep going anyway.
More mind boggling gaffs on the way.....
