One can still subscribe to it (issued 6-8x/year). What did you see to make you believe it's no longer available? |

Same here Jacklac. The last Details I received was the June-July 2023 No 4 Also for the last couple of years or even longer they arrive after the issue date, not like in the good old days when the announcements came weeks before the stamps were issued.

Quote: I have not received anything since 2 or 3 month. Two months since your last issue is on pace for 6x/year, as Canada Post described. |

Yes, I was wondering the same thing. Missing an issue over the summer is expected, but it's nearly the end of October and none has arrived. I'm subscribed too, but I asked at my local post office and they said they hadn't received any for a while. |

Your not the only one who noticed. A friend tries to make a true FDC everytime there is a new issue. With 3 new issues this quarter, or 12 new stamps as well as a 3rd.quarterly pack available and nothing to notify the collector about last two issues is puzzling. . CP is too busy making money rather than spending it on magazines to let us know what is available in a timely manner. They dont seem to care about the few true collectors still buying their self adhesive stamps/stickers. Getting like everyone else - Use the webpages. |

No1philatelist I agree with you 100% but even on the Canada Post Philatelic site the latest Details is the July # 4. It was bad enough when that guy Phillips was in charge but with this new Stamp Services Director someone called Brownwyn Graves it's gotten even worse. Quote: A friend tries to make a true FDC everytime there is a new issue I used to do that also many many years ago. Here is one of my first FDC with cachet. The P.S.14 announcement would arrive about 2 or 3 weeks before stamps were issued. I would go down to Simpsons or to one of the many stamp stores in Toronto and buy a few blank FDCs, go to a Post Office and get a Postal Money Order made out to the Receiver General and mail them to Ottawa to get serviced. Within a week of issue they would arrive in the mail. These were times when stamp collecting was fun. |

Does she understand as a STAMP program director, she should listen to the stamp collector's community, and as a communicator, what doesn't she understand? I have decided to walk the talk and am now stopping collecting any new canadian stamps, until the situation improves. I will no longer buy quarterly, annual labels, especially the last few issues that are not very appealing, and lack past attractiveness we used to appreciate, innovative designs and subjects, that are so plentiful in our beautiful country. In recent past, I had lots of issues with Canada Post delivery (or non-delivery), wrong address deliveries, delays, lost mail. Now, the basic stamp program is broken. Whats next? |

It also looks like according to CSN that CP will not be issuing any stamps commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) even though many have made a request for this. |

Canada Post just didn't listen what we, or any person have to say. I always took their survey, but everything I wright on this, they always do the opposite.?????? Frustrating.... It's look like I'm not the only one. |
