I just received a leaflet from Canada Post: STAMPS SPECIAL ISSUE dated October 2023. Inside they say "We know it's been a while since you've heard from us" (no kidding!). After listing recent releases they say this leaflet "highlights the many easy ways you can stay up to date on our latest issues as we move away from printed copies of Details magazine and consider what this publication will look like in the future." So I guess it's a case of wait and see.

I agree it's time to move away from printed stamps and collect virtual.
I've basically already done that for the last 20 years or so.
I buy the odd issue that interests me, scan the stamps and then use them
for postage.
No sense collecting expensive labels.

Canada Post has published on-line what might possibly be the final "Details-type" brochure, titled Stamps Special Issue and dated October 2023:

https://www.canadapost-postescanada...oct-2023.pdf

This was mailed out to collectors about 2-3 weeks ago.

As Canada Post brings Details/en Détails to a close, here is the definitive list of all the issues that included Ad Mail indicia: (both English and French)

So here we are with another new issue from Canada Post (Eclipse) and no notification via Details in whatever new format they have not yet come up with.

Does anyone out there know what these folks are up to?

Canada Post might as well stop issuing stamps altogether.
I mean who still buys new issues and collects them?
You think the general public cares.

Last year I bought booklets of the King Charles III issue and the Christmas P
stamp but used them up for Xmas mail and birthday cards.

Wouldn't bother me if they only slapped on labels.

Well, here we are six months later and we get the "Canadian Stamp Catalogue" featuring the last six months of stamps.
Most important to Picture Postage collectors: there is indicia (English and French) depicting a new Rocky Mountain scene (I guess).
