Could someone please explain to me why the first I hear of a new Canadian issue is from a Cupertino California stamp club on ebay? It's not at Canada Post at the moment...
Yup. I got the Details mag in my post box this afternoon. I think maybe the international/USA mailing must go out early to arrive at the same time as the national mailing. (Still no French one, however.)
And the indicia is repeated a third time: person hiding behind red maple leaf...
I received a new publication, french version, (Timbres numéro spécial) that shows the new and part of up coming stamps. It states: ...]nous disons au revoir a la version imprimée d;En detail et repensons le magazine (goodby to the printed En detail and we are rethinking the magazine. Seems that this may be the end of it. Some suggestions for the future version: Assuming that philatelists are one of the key audience, it would be appropriate to include basic details about the stamp themselves such as: designer, printer, quantity, format etc....which none (NO) details is currently included in the special edition. Lastly, the advertizing on the last page states that the Annual Album is available as of Nov. 15, but the emission date of the Hanouka is Nov. 16. Will we have to wait till next year to get our complete annual series of stamps for 2023? Overall, I am not impressed about Postes-Canada-Post and the lack of consideration for stamp collectors.
