That looks like the normal paper. It does not even look close to being blue. You can see the blue-paper (French banknote paper) printings on the right. The 'normal' papers are on the left.
Yesterday on another Guernsey/Jersey topic you were provided an excellent article by 22Crowes concerning their stamp history during the occupation. If you have read it you would have noted that blue is the standard colour of paper for stamps that are printed on French banknote paper.
Yes and it was a great article. I put the ' ? ' only because I could t remember if the term banknote was correct and then couldn't remember where I had seen it. Thank you for the follow up - and now I'll save it.
